Thousands of entries were sent by hunters to participate in the Moose Hunt. Maine has zones for which you can apply to hunt moose. The situation is a bit complicated for the novice applicant... and we'd urge you to call us for additional information.

If you feel hunting moose is easy...think again. Getting this 1000 pounds of meat back to camp took half a dozen persons ... 4 wheelers and a truck with trailer parked "somewhere." But it is the trip of a lifetime.
During the winter months, locating moose beds in deep snow is a challenge. BUT...you'll get your exercise on a 12-mile walk.
