White Tail hunting made a bit easier by an early snow fall.
After a successful hunt, the camp departure is bittersweet.
WOW...Nearly 160 pounds of venison for the winter months.
WHITE TAIL DEER
Since hunting White Tail is so popular and difficult, make sure to call the camps far ahead of scheduled harvest dates. The camp staff will recommend what to bring, like a sleeping bag. All camps have wood stoves, but many guests do not wake up "to add another log..." It can get cold. Anyhow, send us an e-mail.
Hunting is critical to assure a harvest of an appropriate number of deer. Plus in these economic hard times, meat is highly valuable.
Many hunters choose the commaderie of going out together.
