The Man in Charge
It is important to know who runs things. John Martin began "running things" since he was old enough to walk. Back then... there was little choice. As one of the youngest politicians in Maine history, and after achieving several degrees, John became the longest serving Speaker of the House EVER in the state of Maine. No one understands parliamentary law better than John Martin. But more importantly, no one understands his constituents better than John Martin. Some say there would no "road" to Northern Maine if it were not for John Martin.

Over the years, lots of interesting people visit Moose Point Camps. Many are students from foreign lands, Slovakia, Czech Republic, countries in Africa, etc. Many are repeat guests. As a matter of fact...most customers are repeat guests because they know what to expect at Moose Point - the vintage, old-style cabin, where the Lodge and kitchen become the "place to be." And one of the Bob Ross proteges took the time to paint scenes from her stay, all of the paintings on half-logs...all in various camps.
