R A R E LOON EGGS
The photo to the left is an image of two loon eggs found on the Peninsula at Moose Point Camps. This is a rare image. All loons must be protected. If you ever come upon such large eggs, do not touch them...and leave the area soon ...to avoid a "parent" abandoning the eggs.

HUNTING PARTRIDGE
Remember your license to hunt birds. Licenses are available to Moose Point Camps. Game Wardens can be strict with hunters who carry a gun and are found walking the forest, denying they are hunting birds. Always err on the side of common sense.

| TOTE ROADS
The acres of wilderness around Moose Point Camps has literally hundreds of miles of old tote roads (areas no longer used by the pulp industry). Many of these tote roads have become little more than wide paths. Along these meandering tote roads, wandering moose are found foraging. Like Bear the Moose will eat the birds. Within a few miles from Moose Point's entrance, be certain you understand where you are, and make a few turns. You'll discover an eerie quiet and often, some of the best bird hunting found in North Western, Maine.
