Moose Point Camps are located on the east shore of Fish Lake, the first major body of water that comprises the famous Fish River Chain of Lakes. The lake is five miles in length with an average width of one mile. The surrounding shoreline, unspoiled by civilization, is covered with lush growths of pine, spruce, fir and cedar blending into the stands of hardwood on the hillsides of beech, maple, and birch. This area is bounded on the north by the Canadian border, the west by the Allagash waterway, the south by the Machias River and the east by Route 11 and the town of Portage. There you will see our first sign directing you in to Fish Lake and our parking. This is the ideal place to spend a proposed vacation whether for fishing, hunting or just relaxing in one of our last true unspoiled scenic areas in the northeast.
